Qualifications & Experience

  • BA (Hons) Business Administration

Victor’s role prior to joining the Subject Centre was the successful management of a £100m European Regeneration Programme budget comprising 800 projects. This involved a wide and comprehensive range of duties including setting the strategic direction, managing day to day delivery of the Programme (e.g. project appraisal, payment of grant claims, project monitoring) and direct involvement with the organisations receiving the European grants, particularly the most complicated and high profile projects.

Having previously worked with the Third Sector (voluntary and community organisations) to develop project funding ideas and systems to operate successful projects across the North East of England, Victor is looking forward to utilising his 10 years of Programme and Project Management in the role of Centre Manager.

Research Interests

Victor is interested in the mechanisms to support collaborative working across the Subject Centre’s constituents and, based on his background, building on the current capacity of organisations and individuals to deliver effectively.
