Slides used in session on open practices at JISC Innovating eLearning online conference, 25 November 2011.
S6: Open practice across sectors (Anna Gruszczynska, Suzanne Hardy, Helen Richardson)
This session seeks to highlight and discuss open educational practice across sectors, identifying similarities and differences. Sectors will include Higher and Further Education, NHS and workplace. We will be discussing strengths that existing academic and managerial cultural practice can bring, as well as challenges. In particular the session hopes to provide evidence of significant benefits from cross-sector approaches and partnerships utilising experiences of the JISC/HE Academy funded UKOER Programme.
