A brief introduction to Anne Tynan
Anne Tynan is the Director of DIVERSE, the 3-year Veterinary Medicine Disability Project funded by the Higher Education Council for England and led by the Royal Veterinary College, University of London.
She has been Student Disability Officer at the Royal Veterinary College since October 2000 and also held the same post at SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) from April 2000 to October 2002.
Anne was the author of 'At the Portal of the Profession - The Veterinary profession and People with Disabilities' (The Royal Veterinary College, November 2002). This report is considered to be a landmark study by the international veterinary community.
As a member of the Buidlings Regulations Advisory Committee (BRAC), Anne is an advisor to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and also serves on the Part M Working Group on Access and Facilities for Disabled People.
