Headline: Disability on the agenda for the world's medical educators
Story: DIVERSE Director Anne Tynan took advantage of this week's international medical education conference in Edinburgh to ensure that the issue of disabled medical students and disabled doctors has now entered the mindsets of medical educators from across the world. The Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) welcomed over 1000 medical educators to their annual conference, organised in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh Medical School. Apart from playing an active role in plenary sessions, symposia and poster sessions, Anne was able to exchange ideas and information with individual delegates. There was widespread enthusiasm for further exploration of key issues, with delegates keen to learn from the work of DIVERSE.
