DIVERSE project steering group
The DIVERSE project steering group will perform a strategic role in the development of the project. Members will undertake the following tasks:
- Approve and review programmes of work for the key areas of the project.
- Approve and disseminate project resources.
- Receive progress and financial reports from the project Director.
- Co-ordinate and review the work of the evaluator.
The steering group will meet twice a year, with venues for meetings rotating among the institutions involved. Each institution is represented, as are LTSN-01 and representative medical and dental schools. A disabled veterinary surgeon and a disabled veterinarian will also participate in the steering group. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) have observer status on the DIVERSE project steering group. This status will also be offered to the General Medical Council and the General Dental Council.
Membership of the DIVERSE project steering group
The DIVERSE project steering group is chaired by the Secretary and Registrar for the lead institution, The Royal Veterinary College, who is also the Secretary of the Heads of Veterinary Schools group.
