Introduction

Teaching development grants and other HE funding schemes are highly competitive and new staff wishing to apply or staff who wish to improve their skills in writing or reviewing high quality proposals for educational projects are welcome to attend an on-line workshop (up to a maximum of 8 participants at a time).

The MEDEV team see many small project proposals which could have been improved if they had:

  1. Better reflected the call for funding and the funders purpose

  3. Sold the ideas outlined in the proposals better

  5. Been more aware of their own university processes (e.g. contracting, finance)

This 'workshop' will use actual proposals received and comments made by reviewers to illustrate different aspects of quality.
