FAQ - What are the main links for continuing professional development (CPD)?

All clinicians are aware of the need for CPD and re-certification as introduced by the General Medical Council, General Dental Council and Royal College of Veterinary Science.

At present appropriate educational courses and reading is eligible for CPD credits by the professional bodies and count towards re certification. It is hoped that the discussions with ILT will enable reciprocation to prevent having to satisfy two masters.
Those who are also members of the Institute of Learning in Higher education will be aware that ILT wish to introduce CPD and re-certification. At present LTSN-01 is liasing with ILT to help broker a means of CPD that will satisfy both professional bodies and the ILT.
