Educational funding opportunities
In the Funding section you will find:
Call for mini-project proposalsThis mini-project call for proposals is now closed with effect 30 September 2009, coinciding with the small grant funding call from Health Sciences and Practice. We are pleased to announce the successful mini-projects for the 2009 call, more information is available in our past funded projects section. We are currently working towards informing proposers of the outcomes by the end of November. Call for workshop proposalsThe Subject Centre has an open rolling call for workshops proposals, to which you may submit ideas at any time by completing the form at www.medev.ac.uk/resources/proposals/workshops3/. We may consider proposals at any time but if you like deadlines then we will be convening panels to consider workshop proposals after 4 December 2009 and 31 March 2010. MEDEV sponsorship schemeMEDEV is often asked to sponsor events, student engagement (and travel), and staff attendance at conferences, etc., which may be worthy of support but difficult to administer. We have therefore established a sponsorship scheme aimed at supporting educational activities which are not able to be funded from elsewhere. Sponsorship limited to a maximum of £100 per application. The MEDEV logo must appear on relevant documentation and we need to see where, if it is an event, the institutions that participants are from (for our annual report). Applications for subsidy of student fees are ineligible. There is no deadline as it is an open rolling call and all proposals are externally reviewed. Details of the call are available on www.medev.ac.uk/resources/proposals/sponsorship. More information on previous sponsorships is available in our past funded projects section. Call for country consultants - Scotland and WalesDetails of the call are available on our website www.medev.ac.uk/resources/proposals/country_consultants.
